I’m having a lot of trouble creating a smooth greyscale. I repeated the exercise using less black paint than white paint. It’s a little better but I’m worried about the lack of variety in the values.
I will try tomorrow mixing ultramarine blue and raw umber as Rachael Broadwell suggests in her poster studies course. Maybe Payne grey instead of black?
